About Me

Hey! I’m Tia. Thanks for reading my words and things. I just graduated from the University of Oklahoma with my bachelors in Professional Writing, so it means a lot that I’m finally getting my voice out there. I intended on starting this blog a lot sooner than I did, but life got in the way. Either way, I’m here now!
Aside from reading a slew of YA fiction, I also enjoy writing it as well. I aspire to be a YA novelist, among many things, and I’m currently just trying to figure my life out. Reading and writing have always helped me in the past, so I’m making a habit of it finally. So here’s a little bit about me in a handy-dandy list (put in no particular order of importance) because I really like lists.

1.     I’m a self-professed horror buff (a.k.a. obsessed).
2.     I’m vegan (not the crazy type, just the regular Joe type).
3.     (I have a lot of side-thoughts and they almost always go in parenthesis).
4.     I have no idea what I’m doing with my life.
5.     I’m an environmentalist.
6.     I love TV shows (Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Grey’s Anatomy, The 100, Hart of Dixie, Rookie Blue) and they really showcase a lot of what I like.
7.     My favorite author is Holly Black.
8.     I aspire to be Isa Moskowitz cool.
9.     I have three dogs, all girls. Nova is the energetic German shepherd mix, Xena is the timid Plott Hound, and Delilah (the newest addition) is the silly Pitbull.
10.  I want to move out of Oklahoma and live somewhere exciting and travel the world!
11.  I want to own a Tiny Home.
12.  I’m a really bad procrastinator.
13.  I’m going to go back to school in a year or so and get my masters in Library and Information Studies.
14.  I can write in backwards cursive.
15.  I used to be really depressed, but I’m slowly getting better.
16.  I’m not consistent, nor punctual by any means. It’s a problem.
17.  My favorite movie is The Labyrinth.
18.  I will go down with my ships.
19.  I listen to all music except for country.
20.  Whenever I got invited to sleepovers, I would always bring a book in case things got awkward and there wasn’t anything to do or I turned antisocial.

So those are 20 useless facts about myself that I hope got you pretty acquainted with me. I’m really trying to be a better person these days and get back to my roots by doing the things that I love to do (reading and writing). I hope you all enjoy my reviews and find them at least a little bit useful. Thanks for reading, and I'm the gal on the right while the left gal is my older sister. If you don't know who the fella in the middle is then I have no time for you. :)
